VINTAGE MITCHELL AFB 1950s BASKETBALL JERSEY

Basketball is another popular sport with servicemen, and this shirt comes from a 1950s team at Mitchell Air Force base in Long Island, NY. The shirt is made from rayon/cotton fabric called durene that was popular as sportswear in the 40s & 50s.
